Abbey Martin got enrolled in gymnastics at the age of 10 and started cheering soon after. From seventh grade through her junior year Abbey cheered at West Muskingum and competed on their competitive cheerleading team traveling all over, winning National titles and championships. Abbey became a member of the SEO staff in 2002. Since then she has judged try-outs, created routines, coached the competitive Pee-Wee team and has assisted Natina Howe with the competitive Varsity, Youth, and Junior cheerleading teams.

Abbey is currently taking classes at Ohio University Athens and hopes to graduate with a Bachelors degree in Life Science Education in the next year. Her goal is to become a high school science teacher and coach cheerleading for the school she teaches in. God is number 1 in her life, then second of course being goofy with the girls, laughing, and eating lots and lots of pizza.
